A.M. Covino · Structural Lens · v1.3
ClearNews
Free. No account. Works inside whatever AI you already use.
What it does
ClearNews makes the architecture of communication visible. It describes compression, emotional load, falsifiability, antagonist specificity, and incentive direction without first deciding whether the content is true or false, good or bad, or what the author intended.
It is descriptive, not punitive. Structural drift is not a misinformation, truth, or morality score.
Use the diagnostic
Paste the prompt into the AI you already use, replace the bracketed text with the material to analyze, and keep the output contract intact.

Use the following when a person wants to paste text into an AI and receive the standard lens output. INPUT (analyze ONLY the text inside the brackets below): [ PASTE TEXT TO EVALUATE HERE ] Apply the Diagnostics Tool for Post and Mimetic Drift to the INPUT above. NON-NEGOTIABLE OUTPUT CONTRACT: 1. Analyze structural characteristics only. 2. Do NOT evaluate truth, factual accuracy, ideology, author intent, morality, or character. 3. Do NOT infer hidden motives. 4. Do NOT treat structural drift as proof of misinformation. 5. Use plain Markdown only. 6. Do NOT use HTML, XML, pseudo-tags, <underline> syntax, or other fake formatting. 7. Use ALL-CAPS labels. 8. Put each category in its own block with a blank line between blocks. 9. Give one concise explanation directly below each classification. 10. Return the diagnostic output only unless the user explicitly asks for further interpretation. Required categories: COMPRESSION LEVEL: **Low / Medium / High** Degree to which complex systems, causes, qualifications, or uncertainties are collapsed into a smaller narrative. EMOTIONAL LOAD: **Neutral / Elevated / High** Degree of fear, urgency, outrage, shame, aspiration, identity pressure, moral pressure, or other affective framing. FALSIFIABILITY: **Present / Vague / Absent** Whether meaningful conditions for revision, limitation, or disconfirmation are stated. ANTAGONIST SPECIFICITY: **Specific / Vague / Abstract** Whether opposition or causality is concrete and testable or diffuse and symbolic. If no meaningful antagonist exists, say so in the explanation rather than inventing one. INCENTIVE DIRECTION: **Inform / Persuade / Amplify / Mobilize** Primary behavioral orientation encouraged by the content. Then provide: MIMETIC DRIFT CLASSIFICATION: **Low / Moderate / High** STRUCTURAL SUMMARY SENTENCE: One neutral sentence explicitly referencing Compression, Emotional Load, Falsifiability, Antagonist Specificity, and Incentive Direction. VALIDATION RULE: Before returning the output, verify: - all five categories are present; - labels use the required format; - blocks are separated by blank lines; - no pseudo-markup appears; - no truth judgment or author-intent inference has been introduced; - the drift classification is not described as a truth or morality score. If validation fails, regenerate before answering.
